Dr. Kenneth Vogel, Principal

My name is Dr. Kenneth Vogel, and I am the principal of Fort Stockton High School. I also serve as the FSISD Assistant Superintendent of Communications and Special Services. This is my 23rd year in public education and, my 27th in public service. I am very proud to be a part of the vibrant Fort Stockton community. Our campus is committed to improving student learning outcomes. We start with our campus instructional leadership team, made up of administrators, counselors, and department coordinators, which in turn, provides guidance for departmental PLCs so that classroom teachers are prepared with the best pedagogical practices and informal and formal assessment tools needed to facilitate student success. Further, we believe in student collaboration, cross-curricular practices, and that the most effective  classroom is one in which teachers facilitate a strong lesson that allows for peer-to-peer discussion, and even peer driven teaching and learning.
