Mrs. Kathryn Carriere

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I come from a large family of 8 children which I am the oldest. I attended Furr High School class of 1980. I then attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas majoring in Drama and minoring in English, graduating in 1985. I have been teaching since the 1985-86 school year even teaching on the Navajo Reservation in Rockpoint, Arizona for a year from October 2010 to November 2011 before moving back to Texas. I have been with Fort Stockton ISD since 2015 and currently teach English at the high school. Besides teaching, I enjoy reading and writing and have two cookbooks currently published.
